Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our healthcare team in North Carolina. This full-time role involves delivering direct nursing care in the operating room and collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have perioperative experience, and possess BLS; ACLS may be required by the facility.

Qualifikationen

• Active and unrestricted RN license.
• 2) Documented OR RN or perioperative nursing experience.
• 3) Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required by facility.
• 4) Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and OR protocols.
• 5) Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• 6) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Prepare the operating room prior to surgical procedures and ensure sterile equipment and supplies.
• Assess patient conditions before surgery and communicate findings to the surgical team.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and respond promptly to changes in vital signs.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Document all aspects of patient care according to hospital policies.
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience.
• Participate in post-operative care, including patient recovery and education for patients and families.
• Comply with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with perioperative nursing best practices.
