Job summary

Openwork Health is seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team in a full-time capacity. You will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a dynamic surgical environment, supporting surgical teams and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to clinical protocols, and a supportive onboarding process focused on licensure and certifications. Weekly direct deposits and a comprehensive benefits package are highlighted.

Qualifications

Current and active RN license.
Minimum of one year experience as an OR RN or perioperative nursing.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique and infection control.
Proficiency in electronic health records and clinical documentation.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are sterile.
Conduct pre-operative assessments and documentation.
Assist surgeons during procedures and maintain a sterile field.
Monitor patient vital signs pre-, peri-, and post-operatively.
Administer medications and treatments as required.
Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
Ensure accurate postoperative documentation and patient transfer to recovery areas.
Maintain compliance with safety and infection control policies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
