Job summary

Lee Health is seeking Advanced Practice Providers (APRN/PA) to join the Surgical Optimization Team in Southwest Florida. The role focuses on preoperative clearance, patient assessment, and coordination with surgeons to ensure safe surgical pathways.

Ideal candidates have strong internal medicine experience; orthopedic experience is a plus. New graduates are welcome. Proficiency in EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation is preferred; Florida licensure is required to practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited APRN or PA program.
• Florida license to practice.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Internal medicine experience required; orthopedics experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clear patients for surgery as part of the Surgical Optimization Team.
• Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients undergoing procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to optimize patient readiness.
