ProHealth Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Pre-Operative Optimization to deliver comprehensive pre-surgical assessments and medical optimization across the health system.

The APP will evaluate surgical readiness, mitigate perioperative risks, and coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and primary care teams to enhance patient outcomes and reduce cancellations.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree required in Nursing or PA studies.
• Minimum of 5 years Advanced Practice Provider experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments for elective surgical patients.
• Determine readiness for surgery and identify opportunities for medical optimization.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing, consultations, or specialty collaboration as needed.
• Coordinate specialty consultations and interventions to reduce perioperative risk.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and primary care clinicians to improve outcomes.
• Educate patients and support through the pre-operative process.
• Drive standardization of perioperative practices to improve quality, safety, and patient experience.
• Help reduce cancellations, delays, readmissions and complications through optimization.
