ProHealth Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Pre-Operative Optimization to deliver comprehensive pre-surgical assessments and medical optimization for elective procedures across the health system.

The APP will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, primary care clinicians, and specialists to evaluate readiness, mitigate perioperative risks, and coordinate interventions that improve outcomes and patient experience.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Minimum of 5 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience.

Responsabilidades

• Complete comprehensive pre-operative assessments for elective surgical patients (18+) across most populations.
• Determine patient readiness for surgery and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing, consultations, or specialty collaboration as needed.
• Coordinate specialty consultations and interventions to reduce perioperative risk.
• Partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and primary care clinicians to improve outcomes.
• Provide patient education and support throughout the pre-operative process.
• Drive standardization of perioperative practices to improve quality, safety, efficiency, and patient experience.
• Help reduce avoidable cancellations, delays, readmissions, and complications through optimization.
