Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced practice care within a Surgical Oncology team across ambulatory clinics and the operating room. You will collaborate with surgical oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to manage preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PA or NP program, CT licensure, and board certification, with ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Active NP/PA licensure in CT with relevant board certification.
• ACLS/BLS certifications; DEA license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice care within a Surgical Oncology practice in ambulatory clinic and operating room settings.
• Collaborate closely with surgical oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative management of surgical oncology patients.
• Provide patient evaluation, education, treatment planning, and follow‑up in ambulatory settings.
• Assist with surgical procedures and provide perioperative support in the operating room.
