Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgery/Acute Care unit at the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. This full-time, on-site position requires day and night rotation with a strong emphasis on direct patient care and teamwork.

The role includes delivering nursing care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to evidence-based practice and safety initiatives. Night shift incentives are offered, along with comprehensive benefits and career growth

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required.
• RN experience preferred; 6 months of nursing experience.
• BLS/CPR required (American Heart Association/Red Cross). Card valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in a fast-paced unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in orientation, education, and quality/safety initiatives.
• Support precepting and mentorship of new staff.
