Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support in our urology practice in Hartford, CT. Day shift, full time, you will room patients, take vital signs, and document in the electronic health record, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least six months of related experience, and familiarity with medical assisting concepts; an Associate’s Degree or national MA certification is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience is required.
• Knowledge of medical assisting normally associated with obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance is preferred.
• National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms and assist with patient examinations.
• Obtain pertinent history and document in the medical record, including vital signs.
• Process and file lab results and clinical notes after physician review.
• Coordinate patient flow with front office to ensure timely visits.
• Assist front office with telephone coverage and appointment scheduling.
