Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Highlands Ranch campus. The role focuses on orientation, ongoing education, and professional development of clinical staff in the Surgical Specialties Unit.

This onsite position requires 40 hours per pay period (part-time) with day shifts. The educator collaborates with managers to tailor curricula, assesses learning needs, and mentors staff in clinical practice and technology use.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure required.
• 2 years nursing experience required.
• BLS certification at hire or before start date.
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS preferred/certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Assess learning needs and competencies of clinical staff.
• Design and deliver curricula related to clinical competencies and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as consultant/mentor for staff in program development and professional growth.
• Coordinate and deliver new staff orientation and education activities.
• Maintain ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
