Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Colorado Springs seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead the SRSS Clinical Education team onsite at Memorial Hospital North. You will oversee daily education activities, coordinate staffing and shift coverage, and foster clinical excellence across a busy hospital campus.

You will mentor staff, conduct evaluations, ensure policy compliance, and support the CERN program. Requires RN licensure, a BSN, 5 years nursing experience with leadership preferred, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• BLS through the AHA or Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, card in-hand before start date, valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily professional development staff activities for an assigned specialty staff.
• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
• Provides direction, orientation, and training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; conducts evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assesses quality of services and facilitates staff development; ensures policy compliance.
• Performs specialty staffing responsibilities and leads issue resolution in a fast-paced setting.
