Job summary

Capital Health seeks an experienced perioperative nurse manager to plan, execute and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients under the leadership team. You will supervise OR staff, manage schedules, and ensure readiness of equipment and supplies while adhering to Capital Health standards.

Requirements include BSN preferred, two years perioperative management, three years OR experience, and ACLS/NRP/PALS per unit. This role features a 40-hour week, 12-hour shifts, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Two years perioperative management experience preferred.
• Three years OR clinical experience with exposure to surgical specialties.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable for assigned units.

Responsibilities

• Promotes staff development and serves as preceptor to mentor nursing employees.
• Supports surgical case preparation and equipment readiness.
• Ensures safe technique and infection control per CH policies.
• Coordinates staffing, scheduling and department communications.
