Omaha Oral Surgery is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The RN will perform routine nursing duties and assist with related duties in a surgical setting, including interviewing patients, maintaining records, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and ACLS preferred or obtainable within six months.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred or obtainable within 6 months of employment.
• At least two years of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain health history.
• Maintain records and prepare oral reports.
• Contribute to unit goals through community relationships and health services.
• Prepare, administer, and record medications.
• Assemble materials and equipment for clinical sessions and maintain supplies.
• Clean and maintain clinical equipment and dispose of supplies correctly.
• Assist in recovery and discharge of patients.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
