Job summary

Nebraska Surgery Center in Lincoln, NE, is seeking an OR Registered Nurse to oversee the surgical experience from start to finish, assessing patient needs, coordinating with surgeons, and maintaining a sterile, efficient environment tailored to each case.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Nebraska RN license (or Compact State license with intent to obtain NE licensure within 30 days).
• Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Previous Operating Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care for surgical patients using established standards.
• Assemble and manage all necessary supplies, instruments, drapes, and sutures for diverse procedures.
• Act as a primary advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
• Work seamlessly with physicians and staff to maintain a culture of kindness and accountability.
