Job summary

Nebraska Surgery Center in Lincoln, NE seeks an OR Registered Nurse to safeguard patient safety and deliver individualized perioperative care from pre-op through recovery. You will coordinate with surgeons, prepare instruments and supplies, and maintain a sterile, efficient environment.

The role requires a nursing degree, Nebraska RN license or Compact license, BLS with ACLS/PALS within 90 days. Full-time, 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Nebraska RN license (or Compact State license with intent to obtain NE licensure within 30 days).
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assemble and manage instruments, supplies, drapes, and sutures for procedures.
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain a kind, accountable culture.
• Provide nursing care across the perioperative continuum.

Join a dedicated team of professionals at Nebraska Surgery Center, where we provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care across a wide range of specialties. Our state-of-the-art facility is designed for clinical excellence in Orthopedics, GI, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, ENT, and more.The RoleAs an OR Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of patient safety and individualized care. You will oversee the surgical experience from start to finish—assessing patient needs, coordinating with surgeons, and ensuring a sterile, efficient environment.
