Job summary

AdventHealth Sebring is seeking a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to lead education initiatives across the nursing team. You will apply evidence-based practice, support quality improvement projects, and foster a spirit of inquiry to advance patient care.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientation using ANPD standards, developing competency plans, coaching staff, and partnering with clinical leaders to drive staff development in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

Proficient in word processing, data management, email and presentation applications.
Knowledge of nursing professional development standards (ANPD).
Experience in education planning and delivery in healthcare.

Responsibilities

Lead nursing education programs and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Support clinical inquiry, quality improvement, and research activities within the organization.
Coordinate orientation and onboarding using ANPD standards for new staff and graduates.
Develop and evaluate competency plans and ongoing staff development activities.
