Job summary

Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Surgery unit. You will lead nursing care, collaborate with the management team, and drive patient-centered outcomes across shifts.

The role requires RN licensure in Nevada, an associate or RN diploma, and 1+ year of OR acute care experience with leadership exposure. Hybrid engagement and strong staffing coordination are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or RN diploma required; Nevada RN license is required.
• Bachelor's in nursing preferred; BLS certification required.
• 1+ years OR RN acute care experience; leadership/charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admissions and discharges to ensure throughput and quality.
• Monitors and evaluates nursing care in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates to create teamwork that improves outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Implements nursing strategies and staff engagement initiatives.
• Recommends hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Helps manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
