Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit activities across shifts. You will direct nursing care, serve as a resource for staff, and align with policies to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure in Nevada, BSN preferred, and 2–3 years ICU leadership experience with BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current and valid Nevada RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Charge/Relief Charge/Nursing leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit, with management.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement, including hourly rounds.
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting and training staff; supports courses of action for development and performance management.
• Manages staff scheduling and labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and equipment/supplies management.
