Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Kansas is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Surgery to lead the OR team, coordinate patient care across shifts, and drive high-quality outcomes.

You will partner with surgical services leadership to optimize throughput, mentor staff, and implement evidence-based nursing practices.

Qualifications

• RN license and current CPR/BCLS.
• Bachelor’s degree or RN diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience; OR scheduling experience preferred.
• Must obtain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges to improve throughput and quality of care.
• Assess the quality of patient care in the unit with leadership.
• Collaborate with experts and managers to promote teamwork and outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery.
• Implement nursing strategies to improve engagement and staffing.
• Provide staff training, evaluations, and performance feedback.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Support inventory control and supplies management.
