You will lead a team, collaborate with managers, and support staff through staffing, training, and performance improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes patient experience, service recovery when needed, and applying nursing strategies to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborate with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff and handling performance evaluations.
