Job summary

National Staffing Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN-OR) for the day shift in Manhattan, KS. This full-time, permanent role requires OR experience and active KS RN license.

Expect a sterile environment, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia providers, and careful patient safety protocols. Qualifications include BLS and ACLS certifications, ADN or BSN, and orthopedic OR experience.

Qualifications

• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in Kansas.
• Orthopedic OR experience with heavy total joint replacement and sports med surgeries.
• Ability to work across multiple specialties (Ortho, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, cataracts, general surgery).

Responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical cases.
• Prepare operating room with instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures.
• Verify patient information and surgical site according to safety protocols.
• Perform surgical counts with the scrub team to support patient safety.
• Complete accurate documentation throughout the patient care process.
• Assist with room turnover between cases to keep the schedule running smoothly.

Are you a passionate Registered Nurse working in the OR, seeking new opportunity within an outpatient Setting?We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Operating Room to work the day shift, no weekends in Manhattan, KS.

What the Registered Nurse - Operating/ RN- OR Room will be doing:

• Support surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile environment
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical cases
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures
• Verify patient information, procedure details, and surgical site according to safety protocols
• Perform surgical counts with the scrub team to support patient safety
• Complete accurate, timely documentation throughout the patient care process
• Assist with room turnover between cases to keep the schedule running smooth

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse - Operating Room/ RN-OR opening:

• Certifications Required : BLS and ACLS required (AHA or ARC).
• Education/license : ADN or BSN, active and unencumbered RN license in the state of KS.
• Minimum experience : Orthopedic experience (mainly Zimmer, Arthrex) required! Heavy Total joint replacement and sports med surgeries.
• Must be able to do all specialties (Ortho, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, cataracts, General surgery).
