Job summary

Manhattan Surgical Hospital is looking for an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team in Manhattan, KS. This full-time role does not require working nights, weekends, or holidays, allowing you to thrive in a balanced work environment.

The successful candidate will support surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and high standards of care. Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas.
• Current CPR and ACLS certification.
• Demonstrates ability to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile environment.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical cases.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation throughout the patient care process.

Position Type: Full Time - 32 hrs or more per week

Job Shift: Days - 8 hr shifts

In This Role, You Will:

• Support surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile environment
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during surgical cases
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures
• Verify patient information, procedure details, and surgical site according to safety protocolsi>
• Perform surgical counts with the scrub team to support patient safety
• Complete accurate, timely documentation throughout the patient care process
• Assist with room turnover between cases to keep the schedule running smoothly

What We Are Looking For:

• Current RN license in the state of Kansas
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Operating room experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
