You will develop and implement educational programs, oversee clinical rounds, and mentor residents and fellows. This senior position blends clinical oversight with administrative responsibilities to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in California (CA RN License).
• NP license in California with Schedule II furnishing.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Adult-Gero Acute Care NP.
• NPI, DEA, PECOS, and CURES enrollment required.
• Minimum 5 years NP experience in a surgical setting.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) required.
• ACLS (AHA) required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, coordinates, and mentors APNs and PAs in surgical services.
• Collaborates with attending surgeons to manage patient care.
• Designs and implements quality improvement initiatives based on outcomes data.
• Develops orientation and ongoing education for APP staff and learners.
• Interacts with hospital leadership to optimize APP utilization and staffing.
