Job summary

UCLA Health in Los Angeles seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Head and Neck Surgery division at Westwood to coordinate outpatient services, supervise nurses, NPs, MAs and support staff, and oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and charge capture within EPIC/CareConnect.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Current CA RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience, including ambulatory setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Forms).
• Ability to complete a Nursing physical assessment.
• Ability to develop a plan of care with goals, monitoring, and documentation.
• Ability to delegate tasks in a management style promoting leadership and teamwork.
• Knowledge of patient care principles, regulatory requirements, and management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all outpatient services for the Department of Head and Neck Surgery.
• Direct supervision of clinical and back-office staff at the Westwood campus.
• Develop and coordinate staff work schedules; conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Oversee budget planning and equipment procurement; maintain service contracts.
• Manage charge capture and documentation in EMR (EPIC/CareConnect).
• Lead performance improvement activities and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Run weekly and monthly reporting on staffing, productivity, budget adherence, and patient volumes.
