Job summary

MercyOne Genesis in Silvis, IL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our Surgery/OR team. The role includes pre- and post-operative visits, and assisting a group of surgeons in the operating room.

This is a full-time employed position with no on-call or weekend requirements. The candidate will have a Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited nursing or PA program, hold an unrestricted Illinois license, and be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate in Nursing or PA program
• Unrestricted license to practice in Illinois
• Ability to prescribe/ administer medications as appropriate
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative visits with patients in clinic
• Assist surgeons in the operating room
• Work Monday to Friday; no call and no weekends

Education

Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program or Physician Assistant program
