Job summary

MercyOne Clinton is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Surgery/OR services at the Clinton, Iowa Clinic and hospital. The role includes pre- and post-operative visits and assisting a group of Surgeons in the OR, with a Monday through Friday schedule and no call or weekend obligations.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program or Physician Assistant program.
• Experienced Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) preferred but will consider other relative experience
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-operative visits with patients in clinic.
• Assist a group of established Surgeons in surgery.
• M-F - No call - No weekends
