Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Anaheim/Irvine is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide patient care under physician supervision in primary care or specialty departments. You will perform exams, order and interpret tests, develop and implement care plans, and ensure follow-up for patients with complex needs.

The position requires a PA or NP certification at hire, California Licensure, and current BLS/ACLS where applicable, with flexibility to work across surgical services as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program or RN/NP route.
• PA/NP certification required at time of hire.
• Active California licensure and related certifications (see notes).

Responsibilities

• Under physician supervision, provide care in primary care or specialty departments.
• Perform physical examinations and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement a care plan and follow-up for patients.
• Refer patients to appropriate facilities and resources.
• Maintain complete medical records for physician review.
• Adhere to Kaiser Permanente policies, privacy, and compliance standards.
