Gamma Surgery Center LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing/Coding Specialist to join our healthcare team. You will manage coding for procedures and diagnoses, submit claims, and resolve denials to maintain accurate financial records.

The role requires proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and experience with SIS systems, with strong attention to detail and communication skills to support physicians and payers.

Competenze

• Experience in medical billing and coding in a surgical/outpatient setting.
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Familiarity with insurance claim submission, EOBs, and denial management.
• HIPAA compliance and coding guidelines knowledge.

Mansioni

• Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to procedures and diagnoses.
• Submit and follow up on medical claims to carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments timely.
• Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts and reconcile billing records.
