Job summary

Logan Health Surgical Clinic in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA) to join a collaborative team. You will work closely with surgeons, advanced practice providers, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure compassionate, high‑quality care in a fast-paced specialty clinic.

Qualifications

• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
• One year of experience in a medical practice preferred.
• Experience in a surgical clinic or specialty practice preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including histories and vital signs.
• Assist surgical providers during examinations, minor procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Perform clinical tasks such as wound care and dressing changes and document information in the EMR.
• Coordinate surgical scheduling, referrals, testing, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies and assist with patient calls and portal communications.
