Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; MA/CNA/EMT/Paramedic programs preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as MA, CNA, EMT, ACA/PCA, paramedic or phlebotomist.
• Certification/registration (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred; BLS preferred.
• Ability to follow directions with compassion and provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and room patients for visits.
• Perform administrative tasks: EPIC charting, scheduling, and records management.
• Maintain infection control and clean exam rooms between visits.
• Provide patient information and referrals as instructed by providers.
• May perform chaperone duties and participate in staff meetings and quality initiatives.
