Job summary

ChristianaCare seeks an Operating Room Assistant II to manage and distribute disposable supplies for the OR and related areas. This full-time role supports OR staff, verifies stock, and uses RFID and Workday handhelds to place and track orders.

The position requires a High School Diploma and at least three years in Materials Management or Supply Chain, with preferred related clinical experience. Day shifts with safety-focused duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience in Materials Management and/or Supply Chain.
• Equivalent Clinical experience will be considered; ideal candidate has Materials Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Fill case bins and carts with delivered products.
• Place orders using RFID system and Workday handheld.
• Verify stock levels with RFID system and clean room audits.
• Restock and rotate supplies; check for damaged/expired items.
• Notify supervisor of shortages or usage increases.
• Inventory and replenish assigned stock and par locations in OR, lab, and ancillary areas.
• Answer calls and assist OR staff.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards.
