Job summary

Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Surgery Inventory Coordinator to oversee the daily flow of supplies, implants and equipment for the Surgery Department using handheld devices and ERP systems. You will ensure timely replenishment, accurate par levels, and coordination with physicians, clinicians, vendors and SPD to support a fluctuating caseload.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 2–3 years of healthcare supply experience, plus strong math, computer skills,

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
2–3 years of healthcare supply experience.
Able to perform basic math and use computer systems.
Experience with procurement and inventory in healthcare preferred.
Proficient with ERP, forecasting and inventory tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily flow of supplies, implants and equipment for surgery using handheld devices and ERP.
Manage owned, consigned, and loaner inventory, ensuring par levels and timely replenishment.
Resolve backorders, substitutions, recalls, and logistical issues with stakeholders.
Support clinicians and physicians, coordinating with vendors and SPD to minimize interruptions.
Maintain clean, safe work area and document inventory changes and cycles.
