Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Material Management Worker I to support the Voice Center operations in an onsite clinical setting. The role involves preparing exam rooms, assisting surgeons with specialized equipment, and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout outpatient procedures.

Under supervision, the candidate will disinfect and replenish anesthetics, coordinate instrument servicing, and maintain a safe environment for laser procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of directly related experience assisting during surgical procedures.
• Ability to prepare and make available diagnostic and treatment equipment.
• Excellent communication with patients undergoing diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up clinical rooms with required instruments and equipment for each patient.
• Assist surgeons with laser, Botox, laryngeal EMG and vocal fold injection procedures.
• Disinfect, replenish, and secure topical anesthetics under physician supervision.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and servicing of specialized clinical equipment.
• Ensure patient flow and monitoring; manage vital signs and intake information.
• Maintain safety procedures for lasers and other equipment during outpatient treatments.
