Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. seeks an Instrumentation Surgical Equipment Technician I to repair and test surgical equipment across assigned modalities. You will disassemble, reassemble, and repair devices, document warranted parts, and maintain clean, compliant workspaces.

The role requires 1–2 years of repair experience, dexterity, and ability to lift up to 20 lbs, with flexible scheduling to support department needs. Fort Lauderdale, Davie, FL, is the primary location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of repairs experience.
• The ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop often.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to use computer devices and systems as needed.
• Proficiency with grinding wheels, soldering irons, sand blasters, Dremel tools, torches, microscopes, fine hand tools, calipers and test equipment.
• Flexible work schedule to meet department needs.
• Ability to handle and assemble small parts.
• Ability to repair basic equipment models and maintain modality/department standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate, and test equipment.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment and instruments and repair as needed, including replacement of defective parts.
• Document all services and testing performed, including parts used.
• Maintain work area to meet Visual Workplace standards.
• Handle timecard and time-off entry, review and submission.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or needed.
