Job summary

Agiliti seeks an Instrumentation Surgical Equipment Technician I in Florida. The role requires technical/mechanical repair skills to service surgical equipment, inspect and test devices, and replace faulty parts. You will document all work and maintain a clean work area to meet safety standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of repair experience, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. A flexible schedule and familiarization with precision hand tools are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of repair experience in medical equipment or similar systems.
• Ability to sit, stand, lift and bend regularly; capable of lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic test equipment; comfortable with precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, evaluate, test, disassemble and repair surgical equipment and instruments as needed.
• Replace defective parts and reassemble devices, ensuring proper function.
• Document services and testing, including parts used, with accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized work area meeting Visual Workplace standards.
• Record time and manage time-off entries; assist with additional tasks as assigned.
