Job summary

Agiliti is seeking an Instrumentation Surgical Equipment Technician I in the Fort Lauderdale area. The role focuses on repairing surgical equipment and instruments, inspecting and testing devices, and maintaining documentation for service events.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED is required.
1-2 years of repair experience.
Able to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop often.
Lift up to 20 lbs.
Proficient with computer devices and systems.
Use of tools listed (grinding wheels, soldering irons, etc.) requiring hand-eye coordination.
Flexible schedule to meet department needs.
Able to handle and assemble small parts.
Able to repair basic equipment models and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

Inspect, evaluate, and test equipment.
Disassemble and assemble equipment and instruments and repair as needed, including replacement of defective parts.
Document all services and testing performed with parts used.
Maintain clean, safe work area meeting Visual Workplace (VWP) standards.
Manage timecard and time-off entries, reviews and submissions.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
