The role requires coordination across multiple sites, oversight of instrument trays, and collaboration with clinical operations to enhance customer service and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience as instrument processor or surgical technologist.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing to support efficient case flow.
• Oversee case cart assembly, decontamination, and sterilization/high-level disinfection of reprocessed inventory.
• Organize instrument trays on a global level to service the Enterprise in a standardized way.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between ORs and CSS offsite locations to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation.
• Procure and standardize instrument trays across the Enterprise.
• Available 24/7 across multiple reprocessing sites within the Health System.
