Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge campus in Naples, FL, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Surgical ICU PRN Nights. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within the ICU, coordinating care plans and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The RN will administer meds, monitor patients, and assist with procedures, while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ICU experience preferred.
• RN licensure and BCLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications preferred.
• PRN night shift requires reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care following nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety in daily operations.
