Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure by state or compact state required
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care following the nursing process
• Documents findings, reports changes in condition to care team
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the care team
• Maintains infection control protocols and patient safety standards
• Documents care and education in the medical record
• Coordinates with the team for safe, high-quality outcomes
