Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in TX or eligibility to practice.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s condition on admission and during care; notify doctor of changes.
• Plan, direct, evaluate and document the care plan and discharge needs with teaching.
• Prepare patients for treatments and procedures; report significant changes to supervisors.
• Reassess patients after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Provide bedside shift report with family participation to ensure continuity.
