Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio (HCA Healthcare) seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to ensure high quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Surgical ICU. The CNC coordinates, monitors, and guides nursing care during shifts, serving as a resource for staff and upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing degree, 1+ year RN experience, and 2–5 years ICU background, with TX RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• 2-5 years of ICU experience highly preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact; TX license required within 90 days.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Leads with commitment to the organization’s vision and supports staff engagement.
• Represents the organization positively within the community and participates in staff and patient events.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
