Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a licensed Registered Nurse to join the Jersey Shore University Medical Center team in New Jersey. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care, communicate with the care team, and document assessments and plans with advanced bar-scanning and EHR tools.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, ongoing education, and safe discharge planning. Nursing residency is available for new graduates; ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or be in the Nurse Residency program.
• A minimum of 2 years of critical care experience preferred.
• ACLS preferred; TNCC preferred; NIHSS certification preferred; National certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of nursing practices per up-to-date evidence‑based research and standards of care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team about status and plans.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safety.
• Electronic documentation of patient assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations at the point of care.
• Patient and family centered education to optimize health and disease management.
• Multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transition and continuum of care.
