Job Summary

Seeking Surgical First Assistant, RNFA, or Physician Assistant for Labor and Delivery at UH Ahuja Medical Center. Day (7a-7p) and Night (7p-7a) shifts available with call requirement. Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Surgical Assistant

• Provide intraoperative technical functions in all facets of the first assistant role.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to ensure safe patient care.
• Establish and maintain a safe perioperative environment.
• Support perioperative duties as assigned.

Physician Assistant

• Perform patient assessments and develop diagnoses based on current data and research.
• Establish care plans and implement interventions following protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and support a learning environment.

RNFA

• Assess, manage, and evaluate surgical patients perioperatively.
• Provide technical assistance during surgeries.
• Offer educational opportunities to staff and students.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other duties as assigned.
