Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a dynamic First Assist RN to join its healthcare team in Sanford, Florida. This role includes providing assistance in emergency procedures, serving as a liaison between the surgical team and patients' families, and assessing patients' needs during surgery. Candidates must have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma, a Florida RN license, and at least 5 years of experience or completion of a Perioperative Nursing course. Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience or completion of Perioperative Nursing course.
• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start.
• ACLS card required within 6 months of employment start.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency procedures and scheduled cases.
• Assess patients and maintain a sterile operating room.
• Liaison between the surgical team and patients’ families.
