HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking an Operating Room First Assistant Registered Nurse. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment. Join our team dedicated to patient care and collaboration.

Ideal candidates are Florida-licensed RNs or ARNPs, with CFA certification and a minimum of 350 cases, plus two years of experience in the last four years. You will work in a fast-paced OR with strong team support and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Florida RN or ARNP license; active FL RN license within 60 days if compact.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Surgical Assistant Program, or Medical School graduate, or allied health professional with 2250 hours surgical rotation.
• Current CFA with 350 cases; two years of experience within the last four years.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CFA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate intra-operative patient care.
• Assist surgeons in operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patient records, including tests and examination results.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
