Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness is seeking a dedicated Surgical First Assistant PRN to join their Surgical Services team. This role focuses on ensuring positive patient interactions and working closely with surgeons in the operating room during procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 350 surgical cases and 2 years of experience.
• Ability to lift 100 pounds and carry 50 pounds routinely.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Provide manipulation of tissues and ensure good visualization.
• Apply surgical dressings and assist the RN in the OR.
