Qualifications

• Certification as a First Surgical Assistant (preferred or required).
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during procedures including tissue manipulation, retraction, and suctioning.
• Manage OR workflow, sterile turnover, and customization of the suite to surgeon preferences.
• Position and stabilize patient and equipment to ensure clear surgical exposure and safety.
