Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a surgical, sterile processing, or patient care support role required.
• 1-2 years of experience supporting perioperative services or working in a surgical setting preferred.
• CPR and BCLS certifications required by the role (or as per hospital policy).

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating room setup, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile before procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for surgery per protocol, assist with transport and draping.
• Pass instruments to the surgical team and maintain aseptic technique during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and support infection prevention throughout the case.
• Assist with room turnover and postoperative recovery support as directed.
