Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Surgical Technician Program.
• NBSTSA Surgical First Assistant Certification required.
• Two years CSFA experience in multiple specialties preferred.
• Familiar with medical terminology related to anatomy and OR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures and hand over instruments as needed.
• Hold open incisions and manage wound exposure.
• Assist with dressing surgical wounds and maintaining a sterile field.
