Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Surgical Technician Program.
• NBSTSA Surgical First Assistant Certification required.
• Two years of CSFA experience in multiple specialties preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and OR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures by handing tools and materials.
• Hold incisions open and assist with wound dressings as directed.
• Support operative care in the operating room and ensure patient safety.
