Job summary

Agiliti Health, Inc. is hiring a Surgical Evaluation Technician I for our Roanoke, TX lab. The role conducts basic incoming and outgoing quality control testing on surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper operation and standards are met.

You will receive, inspect, evaluate and test equipment, identify worn parts, document services, and prepare items for shipping. A high school diploma and ability to lift up to 20 lbs are required; repair experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of repair experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic incoming and outgoing Quality Control Testing for identified modalities.
• Receive, inspect, evaluate and test incoming equipment.
• Identify defective, worn parts and/or equipment craftsmanship that does not meet standards.
• Ensure proper operation and standards of outgoing equipment.
• Document all services and testing performed, including parts used.
• Prepare instruments and equipment for shipping and maintain workspace to Visual Workplace standards.
• Handle timecard and time off entries, reviews and submissions.
• Other tasks as assigned or needed.
